Das Ende der DDR, erzählt aus Sicht der jungen Hannah, die sich mit einer Gruppe ostdeutscher Entwicklungshelfer im äthiopischen Hochland aufhält, dort ihre große Liebe trifft und die, je mehr sie sich auf die äthiopische Kultur einlässt, beginnt die Probleme in ihrer Heimat aus einem ganz anderen Blickwinkel zu betrachten.

Autumn 1989, the German Democratic Republic collapsing, Ethiopia at civil war, in the thick of it a young passionate woman from East Germany, being torn between the worlds.

The end of the German Democratic Republic, told from the view of the young Hannah, who came to the Ethiopian high land with a group of East German aid workers. She meets her big love there, and, the more she gets involved with the Ethiopian culture, the more she learns to put the problems in her home country into perspective.
